*sigh* Hornby Island. I got there because of a trip the International Student Programme hosted and it was incredibly beautiful! The day we got there (we stayed for one night) the sun was shining but it was a little bit foggy, so the forests looked kind of mysterious but in a very beautiful way.
I couldn’t stop saying how beautiful everything was because it was stunning. Especially the beach was amazing.
We went on a boats tour, because it was part of the activities and saw a lot of seals, they were soooo cute!!
Also we climbed on a climbing tower and at night we made a little fire and every nation that was represented by international students had to perform something typical from their country which was a lot of fun! I got to know a bunch of new people from very different countries and the most interesting part of it, is that everybody teaches you their language so you get to know for example a few italian or portuguese words.
Anyways the nature was incredibly beautiful and the people were super nice and it was a lot of fun.
In the summer time many people go to Hornby Island for camping and now that I was there I would definitely recommend it!!! (Now you know what to do next summer break;)
Have a nice day & smile a lot!
